Baby Calum on Schedule

Angie checked into Burnaby General at 7:30 am this morning. As you can read in Angie's post below, they have started the inducing/induction of Baby Calum. In other words, we sat around all day! I did my best to entertain Angie with my witty jokes (and retorts) and my detailed stories of lore (note: she likes my stories). We had visitors during the day (thanks for the flowers UBCIC), talked on our cells (the hospital allows the use of cell phones - call us!) and in general just tried to relax.

Angie's family arrived late this afternoon to be here for the Calum's big day tomorrow.

Angie's blood pressure is still a concern and tonight she had to take some medication for it. Angie asked about side-effects and the nurse brought a huge reference book so Angie could read what this particular drug would do and its side-effects. The nurses and doctors at Burnaby General are great.

It's 9:00 pm, Angie kicked me out and told me to get some sleep.

A sincere thank you to all of you for calling, texting, emailing and for your thoughts of support.
